Brigitte Spiegeler (b.1971) is a Dutch artist who graduated in fine arts from the Royal Academy of Arts, The Hague (The Netherlands) in 2008. Her work can be seen at international exhibitions in China, Turkey, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Hungary, and France. She has participated in the Venice Biennial in 2017. She uses a variety of techniques, such as photography, painting, ceramic, poetry, and installation. Spiegeler's works are about an imaginary time that only exists in our minds: in her words "a time without a time, vague with some details popping up, the memory is now, right here, but at the same time endlessly far away and intangible". Her work is in several international collections including the WanQi Art Museum, Dehua, China, and various private collections in Germany, Turkey, Switzerland, and the Netherlands. Brigitte Spiegeler lives and works in the Netherlands and regularly stays in artist residencies around the world. This past August and September she joined an art residency in Berlin.

Lisanne Hoogerwerf (b.1987), graduated from Royal Academy of Art, currently works and lives in The Hague in the Netherlands. Lisanne’s works are exhibited in the Netherlands, Italy, the UK, Romania, etc. Recently she attends the following exhibitions and art fairs: "The Boundary of Drifting" online exhibition in Photofairs Shanghai, "Unseen" Photo Fair Amsterdam, MIA Photo Fair Milan, Museum of Young Art in Austria. Bonding her inner heart with imagined outer space, Lisanne’s artworks depict recognizably unreal places: scenes that you cannot find in reality, but which are made with real materials such as pieces of wood, sand, glue, and painted canvas. Her studio floor acts as a stage on which she builds, records, and deconstructs her landscapes. In her scenes, she sometimes refers to global developments, such as the pandemic, the climate crisis, and environmental issues. The scenes have been stripped of the hustle and bustle of everyday life: no traffic or busy cityscapes. Contrasting characteristics and elements can be linked to her work, for example: utopian/dystopian,playfulness/seriousness, society/nature, and beauty/grayness.

Wang Xin, Doctor in art history, currently works as the Director of the Theory Department at the National Academy of Painting Shanghai and lives in Shanghai. She uses materials that could be easily found in daily life. By means of dramatic image construction, they not only re-examine the relationship between life and art but provide imaginative images that are alienated by photography as well. In her latest work, she embodies the emotions, moods and inner feelings during the lockdown through combining photography with "ready-made objects" from the lockdown period. Exhibitions that Wang Xin participated in: "Crossroads - Singapore Through The Lens 1870-1940" and "Back Home - Images of Fujian Circa 1928 in Liu Kang's Album" during 2021 and 2020 Jimei x Arles International Photography Festival, "2013 Shanghai Youth Art Exhibition - Youth Photography Unit", "Shanghai Aura: Exploring Photographic Modernity in Early 20th century China", "Commemorating Shanghai 1980s - The Photograph of Seven Photographers", "Commemorating Shanghai 1990s".
