欧洲艺术协会 | 智利：南美洲的“宝藏”国家
当我们看向南美洲的地图，目光很难不被一个长条形国家所吸引。
智利是世界上最长、最狭窄的国家，智利南北长 4270 公里，平均宽度只有 180 公里，最窄处仅 90 公里。它就像一根被太平洋与安第斯山脉夹在中间的细长辣椒，Chile也因此得名。
近日在绿地全球商品贸易港，智利驻沪总领事馆经济商务领事武德（Juan José Vidal Wood）接受了欧洲艺术协会Emma的采访。
When we look at the map of South America, it is hard not to be attracted by a long-strip country.
Chile is the longest and narrowest country in the world. Chile is 4,270 kilometers long from north to south, with an average width of only 180 kilometers and the narrowest width of only 90 kilometers. It is like a slender chili pepper sandwiched between the Pacific Ocean and the Andes Mountains, hence comes the name of the country---- Chile.
Recently, Mr. Juan José Vidal Wood, Trade Commissioner of Chile in Shanghai, was interviewed by the European Art Association at the Greenland G-Hub.

European Art Association: Chile's products and culture have a long history. What do you think of Chile's delicious salmon, mussels, pork, fruit, wine, dairy products, honey, olive oil, and more? What is authentic good food from your point of view?
Juan José Vidal Wood：
智利以自己品种丰富的高质量食品享誉全球，尤其是食品产业的可追溯性、可持续性和安全性，满足了严格的国际标准和现代消费者对健康、安全食品日益增长的需求，智利的食品工业，从种植、生产到加工的各个环节都极具创新性。
近期的“智利食品与企业推介会”活动旨在帮助中国的企业及消费者了解智利食品与企业，推广智利葡萄酒、肉类（猪肉、牛羊肉、禽肉）、海产品（三文鱼、帝王蟹、贻贝）、蜂蜜、奶制品、橄榄油等农产品。而作为一个可靠的、可持续发展的高品质葡萄酒生产国，智利在国际上获得了盛誉，这也使智利成为了全球第四大葡萄酒出口国和新世界国家中排名第一的出口国。
作为新的尝试之一，“开箱智利”此次携手上海地铁，登录上海20条地铁线路和1377条公交线路，并通过上海东方明珠移动电视《智行天下》栏目智利特辑，既是拉开“开箱智利”活动的序幕，更是主动向中国人民展示智利寻求突破的一面。盲盒不仅包括中国市场已经熟知的智利水果、海鲜、肉类，也包含智利葡萄酒等产品。此次开箱智利为全面推广智利丰富的出口贸易按下了开始键。
Chile has a global reputation for its wide variety of high-quality food, especially the traceability, sustainability, and safety of the food industry, which meets strict international standards and the growing demands of modern consumers for healthy and safe food. Chile's food industry is very innovative in every procedure, from planting, and production to processing.
The recent two live streams "Get to Know Food and Companies from Chile-for Chinese importers, distributors and final consumers" aim to help Chinese enterprises and consumers understand Chilean food and companies, promoting Chilean wine, meat (pork, beef, mutton, and poultry), seafood (salmon, king crab, mussel) and innovative products(honey, dairy products, olive oil). As a reliable and sustainable high-quality wine producer, Chile has gained an international reputation, which has also made Chile the fourth largest wine exporter in the world and the number one exporter among the New World countries.
As one of the new attempts, "Unboxing Chile" has joined hands with Shanghai Metro this time to launch it on 20 subway lines and 1,377 bus lines in Shanghai. The prelude to the "Unboxing Chile" campaign is to show the Chinese people that Chile is taking breakthroughs. The blind box not only includes Chilean fruits, seafood, and meat that are already well-known in the Chinese market, but also includes wines of Chile and other products. This time, Chile pressed the start button for the comprehensive promotion of Chile's rich products.
欧洲艺术协会：诺贝尔文学奖获得者、诗人巴勃罗·聂鲁达 “不了解智利森林的人，很难谈得上了解这个星球。你如何看待他的“诗和远方”？
European Art Association: Nobel Laureate in Literature, Poet Pablo Neruda said “It is difficult to know the planet without knowing the Chilean forest.” How do you understand his "Poems and the Distance"?
Juan José Vidal Wood：
位于世界尽头的智利是一个传统与现代融合的国家，是一个极具多样性和反差的国家，更是一个可以激发诗人灵感的国家。在智利的土地上，可以碰撞出多元化的观点和思想，有很多热爱文学的人，很多人喜欢阅读写作。因此，智利有很多诺贝尔文学奖获得者。
比如女诗人加夫列拉·米斯特拉尔（Gabriela Mistral），她写过很多给孩子的诗集。还有一位著名诗人叫做尼卡诺尔·帕拉（Nicanor Parra），我手上的这本就是他的诗集中译本，是我们和中国的高校合作翻译的。巴勃罗·聂鲁达（Pablo Neruda）是一位人生经历丰富的诗人，他在亚洲欧洲都生活过，因此他的作品不仅有智利本土的特色，也融合了很多世界的元素。聂鲁达就因“诗作具有自然力般的作用，复苏一个大陆的命运和梦想”而获诺贝尔文学奖。聂鲁达的诗几乎每一首都离不开爱情。他是一个外交官，却有着诗人的情怀，最终也以诗出名，成为著名诗人，聂鲁达的诗依然常常被人朗诵，他的诗必将永恒闪烁于世界诗坛。
智利诞生了很多诺贝尔奖和艾斯纳奖得主，从奥斯卡奖到柏林电影节上的许多金银熊奖项，以及几项格莱美大奖，每个行业都在其所在地区脱颖而出。《熊的故事》获得第88届奥斯卡金像奖“最佳动画短片”。
还有，智利人热爱运动也喜欢足球，一直以来都是南美劲旅，在2015年和2016年，更是历史性的卫冕美洲杯冠军。而红色的球衣永远是球场上一道靓丽风景，在智利红色象征着智利的独立和自由，有着特别的意义和内涵。 智利也有很多电影和足球有关，比如《足球的故事》这部电影很好的融合了足球和智利的文化。
我的一位堂兄，名叫Andrés Wood也是一位电影导演，他不仅拍电影还拍电视剧，他所拍摄的作品都是以智利的历史文化紧密相连的。
Chile, at the end of the world, is a country where tradition and modernity merge, a country of great diversity and contrast, and a country that can inspire poets. In the land of Chile, diverse viewpoints and ideas can be mixed. There are many people who love literature, and many people like to read and write. Therefore, Chile has many Nobel Prize winners.
For example, the poetess Gabriela Mistral wrote many poems for children. There is also a famous poet named Nicanor Parra. This book I have is a Chinese translation of his poetry, which we cooperated with universities in China. Pablo Neruda is a poet with rich experience, he lived in Asia and Europe, so his works not only have the characteristics of Chile but also integrate many elements of the world. Neruda was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature for "poetry has the power of nature to revive the destiny and dreams of a continent". Almost every poem of Neruda is inseparable from love. He is a diplomat, but he has the feelings of a poet, and eventually, he became famous for his poetry. Neruda's poems are still often recited, and his poems will surely shine in the world forever.
Chile has many Nobel and Eisner winners, from the Oscars to the many Golden and Silver Bears at the Berlin Film Festival, as well as several Grammys. ‘Bear Story’ won the Best Animated Short Film at the 88th Oscars.
In addition, Chilean people love sports and football. Chile has always been a South American powerhouse. In 2015 and 2016, Chile defended the Copa America champions. The red jersey is always beautiful scenery. In Chile, red symbolizes independence and freedom and has special meaning and connotation. There are also many movies in Chile related to football, such as "Football Story", which is a good fusion of football and Chilean culture.
One of my cousins, Andrés Wood, is also a film director. He not only makes movies but also TV series. His works are closely related to the history and culture of Chile.
欧洲艺术协会：智利的创意产业和创业人才全世界闻名，创意领域提供的服务具有高附加值、多样性和高质量，能分享下智利是如何在创意之路上始终“乘风破浪”？
European Art Association: Chile's creative industries and entrepreneurial talents are famous all over the world. The services provided in the creative industries are of high added value, diversity and high quality. Can you tell us how could Chile always “brave the wind and waves”on the road of creativity?
Juan José Vidal Wood：
智利作为拉丁美洲创新的杰出领导者，其基于技术的解决方案、可持续产品和具有高附加值的服务已成功地在国际市场上扩展，智利在世界的每个角落都得到了认可。智利独特而迷人的地理环境，在食品、足球、创意产业、服务业和工业4.0等领域的成就及发展不胜枚举。
比如智利葡萄酒行业几十年来一直在认真和系统地进行研发，以利用其质量使其产品多样化并改善其供应。始终研究和技术创意，加上愿意尝试和试验的葡萄酒种植者，使智利葡萄酒获得了与国际竞争对手不同的成果。
在后疫情时代，创意经济的前景将更为乐观，创意经济的创新特性能够在疫情过后为经济发展和增长找到新的路径，持续打破界限的文创产业，让智利的创意风格始终和各个区域的民族传统特色重合，注重挖掘智利本土文化与智利创意产业多领域发展潜能，融合世界创意产业发展趋势和创新元素，智利得以始终在创意之路上“乘风破浪”。
Chile is recognized in every corner of the world as an outstanding leader in innovation at Latin America, and its technology-based solutions, sustainable products and services with high added value have successfully expanded in international markets. Chile's unique and fascinating geography is full of achievements and developments in the fields of food, football, creative industries, services and Industry 4.0.
For example, the Chilean wine industry has been doing research and developed systematically for decades to diversify its products and improve its supply. Consistent research and technical creativity, combined with wine growers willing to try and experiment, have allowed Chilean wines to achieve results that differ from international competitors.
In the post-pandemic era, the prospects of the creative economy will be more optimistic. The innovative characteristics of the creative economy can find new paths for economic development and growth after the pandemic. The cultural and creative industries that continue to break the boundaries will make Chile's creative style consistent with the traditional characteristics of Chile. Focusing on exploring the development potential of Chilean local culture and Chilean creative industry in multiple fields, and integrating the development trend and innovative elements of the world's creative industry, Chile has always been able to “ brave the wind and waves" on the road of creativity.
